Posted by admin | Exercise | Sunday 18 January 2009 7:43 am

P90X has to be one of the most intense things I’ve ever done! The first week was absolutely crazy! I have never moved my body so much and in so many different ways in my life! They’re great. It has completely changed the way I look at eating in general. Fast food is more than just bad for you; it’s practically not food at all! I look at myself in the mirror now and I can’t even believe it’s me. I work for the Postal Service so I’m always on the move; it has made my job so much easier!

If you’re ready to improve your overall quality of life, from looking a whole lot better to feeling full of energy then give PX90 a chance. I had a real nice breakfast spinach scrambler with all the trimmings, tomato, onion, low fat cheese! What a great breakfast and a slice of whole wheat toast with a dusting of butter. I am a coffee drinker. I drink my coffee black before I had began the P90X and PX90 I used creamer not anymore its just another additive I don’t need drinking your coffee black takes so getting us to, but in time like all things you become us to the change. Did I mention my wife made me the scrambler that was real nice of her, I was running late in the morning and she helped me out so that was cool?

My body is in recovery , today at work I was walking with purpose, in hopes that my legs would feel more loose cause with last nights jumping around they feel sore. My upper body feels like jelly especially in the upper part of my arms. Give it a few weeks though and I’ll be blowing out the walls with all of this. A couple of days into it and I am getting real excited and I feel great again over the holidays I got sloppy but am now realizing I am here to bring it and will. Abs ripper is still the best for me I do the exercises well as best as I can. I have not been able yet to keep my feet from touching the ground during mason twist. I used to be able to blow through that and do the extra. Goes to show you what a few weeks of can do.

Emotional eating is one of the many eating disorders that most of us suffer. When one gets stressed out or depressed, he or she usually finds comfort in eating. That’s why we have what we all comfort food. What’s not good about emotional eating is that one tends to eat too much of his comfort food that can end up being bad for the health or can bring about weight problems.

There are several tips in avoiding getting swallowed up by emotional eating. First is one must keep in mind that getting rid of emotional eating is a gradual process, not a drastic one. One must make a commitment to avoid emotional eating or else, one would just result into going back to old bad habits. Second is to believe in yourself. You must keep always tell yourself that you can triumph over comfort food. Another important thing is to know ones emotional trigger. When you know that you eat when you’re stressed, what you can do is to try to do something else when stressed. Like play a few games for kids in the computer or five rounds of solitaire instead of eating.

These tips can be your first step in losing weight. Just keep believing that you can do it and you’re on your way into losing all the excess calories.

Curing Dog Allergies at Home

Posted by admin | Disease, General, Health, Sickness | Sunday 21 December 2008 8:23 pm

When you have dog allergies, it is definitely best to not have any dogs at home. But what if your super adorable son or daughter begs you to have a cute puppy at home I mean, how can you say no right? Good thing that even though there are no cures for allergies, there are some simple steps to do at home just so you can still keep a dog despite your allergies.

First is to keep the dog outside. Your kid may feel bad about this but this is the least that can be done as compromise since your allergies aren’t going away. If your kid begs you to keep the dog inside the house when it’s too cold outside, at least never allow the dog to enter your bed room. Second is to frequently give the dog a bath. The dead skin carries the allergens that’s why the dog needs a bath at least once a way to keep its skin from being too dry. Third is to avoid using carpets that can trap dog dander. Last is to keep an air filter in the bed room to filter out allergens from the air. Allergies become worse at night and it is best to keep an air filter in the bedroom.
